Muffin Tin Monday – Skylar’s Choice October 18, 2010

Welcome back to Muffin Tin Monday!  There was no theme for this week, so I asked Skylar if she wanted to pick out her own menu.  She excitedly agreed, and set to work writing out a list of some things she wanted.

.

.

I think she did a great job of putting together a yummy meal (after I vetoed several junk food options)

.

.

Top Row (Left to Right): Corn, Applesauce with rainbow sprinkles, Koala March

Bottom Row (Left to Right): Clementines, Cheese sandwich hearts, pretzel rods with peanut butter

.

For anyone who is wondering “What is Koala March?” check out my post from yesterday.

.

I love clementines, and they are a perfect snack for kids.  They are tiny, as demonstrated here:

.

Right?!?! So not only are they completely adorable, they are also really easy to add to a lunchbox, or toss in your purse.  They are nice and sweet, and very easy for little fingers to peel open.

.

So, great job Skylar, and thanks for cutting out the sandwiches for me and waiting just long enough so I could take pictures!  I’m so proud of my munchkin.

We eat a lot of clementines here. They are just the perfect size for the little ones.
